Product Warranty Exclusions
Infinity Electronics Ltd (known as "Infinity") in accordance with various country laws such as in the UK, offers a global consumer warranty for any product; hardware, software or service which is provided free of charge when said product is purchased directly from Infinity or its retail partners.
Warranties offered by Infinity are only valid during the time periods of said warranty and also as long as usage of the purchased products are legal and in accordance with Infinity Usage Policies.
Warranties only cover the return/replacement of a product if it arrives outside of its contract of sale promise.
Warranties only cover repairs of products within the conditions and boundaries set out by Infinity (their sole discretion is administered) whilst a warranty time period is active, whilst Infinity is legall bound to do so and as long as the use of the product is legal and within Infinity Usage Policies.
there may be situations and circumstances where part of, or all of, a warranty is excluded and void. This document outlines some (but not all) of these situations and circumstances.
Warranty Exclusions
i. Warranties and their claims are excluded, denied, ignored and/or void if 12 months has elapsed since the
order date of a product, without an extended warranty package being purchased for the product.
ii. Warranties and their claims are excluded, denied, ignored and/or void if the active warranty (either from
order date or from extension date) are no longer active.
iii. Warranties and their claims are excluded, denied, ignored and/or void if it is found a product has been
misused in line with the Infinity Usage Policy. All customers agree to adhere to the usage policy upon placement
of an order with Infinity, or their retail partners, for any Infinity product.
iv. Warranties and their claims are excluded, denied, ignored and/or void if it is found a product has been used,
or has been party to, illegal activities within the country of sale and/or use.
v. Warranties and their claims are excluded, denied, ignored and/or void if a product has been altered, changed,
modified, adjusted or other measure which puts it outside of its supplied condition or capabilities. This can
include, but is not limited to, rooting, OS alterations, firmware adjustments, any physical adbnormalities,
tinkering with I/O connectors and ports, tinkering with any components, attempting to manipulate the body or
structure of the product, attempting to see or alter the source code of the product, cloning the product or
anything else outside of the condition supplied by Infinity.
vi. Warranties and their claims are excluded, denied, ignored and/or void if a product changes ownership between
customer and any contact or customer they might have. Infinity warranties are only provided to the direct
customer of Infinity or its retail partner and are not transferred with any future sales/change of ownership/possession
of the product.
vii. Warranties and their claims are excluded, denied, ignored and/or void at any point at the decision and
sole discretion of Infinity for any reason at any time they choose to use without any explanation required.
