London Borough of Brent Case Study

London Borough of Brent

Brent Council - London

Modern CCTV -
for a whole London Borough

The London Borough of Brent is one of the largest Boroughs in London; home to almost 400,000 people and with hundreds of council-owned buildings, providing equipment on this scale is a vast undertaking.

The council has a centralised office with management staff located near the home England's National football team, Wembley Stadium. From this location all business operations are conducted including Alarm Management and CCTV monitoring.

The Borough is undergoing works all the time, old systems that are beginning to fail and thus need new cameras and recorders, properties that have fallen vacant or into disrepar and require significant rennovations and upgrades, or even brand new build developments. The council needs a vendor that can provide solutions for all of these applications.

This is why Infinity was selected; its camera technologies are market-leading and its recorders are feature-rich allowing the council to make use of Video Analytics, ANPR, Facial Recognition on a very lineal and granular basis. Infinity products can be used with multiple third party vendors making them perfect for rip-and-replace or system upgrade applications. Due to their high quality but exceptional value, they are perfect for new build projects as well.

Infinity systems are natively IP and can work as edge devices, centralised on-site or even on the cloud. Due to this flexibility, they are the best-suited vendor for enabling each premises to have its own localised recording whilst also being able to connect to a centralised management facility; all without being bandwidth hungry! This marriage of technology and flexibility is exactly what the council was looking for and exactly why Infinity has been selected to provide systems across the whole Borough!
