One of the busiest transportation systems in one of the largest cities on earth requires widepsread surveillance. São Paulo launched a new fleet of trains and vehicles all of which were surveyed by Infinity High Definition CCTV Dome Cameras.
What can make environments such as this even more complex, is the fact that such a wide area needs coverage and multiple situational detections are required. This is why Infinity cameras were setup with different detections on them, some were configured to secure a premises or area so had Line Crossing whereas others were protection for transportation itself and were configured alongside Dearailment Detectors so if transportation had an issue or went off course there was immediate detection and notification along with HD footage.
São Paulo This is why Infinity was chosen. Being able to deplopy a large number of High Definition (HD) cameras that are comfortable
with multiple detection types and being housed in different environments.
Another key component is that Infinity offers flexible hardware on a backend and front end basis. Servers and Network Video Recorders (NVRs)
can be deployed in such a way that they can provide secure, closed viewing of cameras in a giving vicinity, but can also form a larger system
so that operators all across the metro system can view the system as needed.
Functionality can be added via cameras of choice and the NVRs and servers they connect to. Functionality can be enabled and configured in a
very lineal manner, so if the hospital identified potentially vulnerable areas, or potential 'hot spots' they could deploy additional cameras
with added functionality such as Video Analytics to detect and alert when a human, vehicle, particular face or similar detection occured.
The value of being able to have an enormous range of camera types, analytics and functionalities is of great benefit and value to the hospital
as the system can grow and develop with the premises. All the while, these features maintain the ability to have closed systems on given wards
and allowing centralised access for senior members of staff....with excellent bandwidth utlisation meaning streaming and managing is never an
issue.
