Turkish Embassy Case Study
Turkish Embassy
High Definition CCTV with IT -
modern surveillance
The Central Embassy is located in the capital city of Turkey, Ankara. It is the central building for administration of embassies from nations from around the world handling paperwork for countries such as USA, United Kingdom, China and many others.
A lot of important and sensitive information and documentation is handled and processed thus intelligent security measures are required.
Certain areas were designated as high security so cameras with Facial Detection and Recognition were deployed at these
areas; which were classified as "zones". These zones also had directional control detections configured on the cameras meaning system
managers could know which direction of travel (entering or exiting zone) and by whom at any moment.
The client also required intelligent guard suveillance where external perimeter PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) cameras were deployed with the ability
to track and centrally alarm if a potential threat was detected. This allows system managers to track a threat all round the building and
up to the point of entering as each camera effectively 'hands over' the target as it moves around/through the building.
Other major threats include potential exposives. This is why several Infintiy cameras were configured with Object Abandoned detection so that
if an object was left, an alarm was raised, thus it can be intercepted before an explosion could possibly occur.
Also deployed was Infinity License Plate Recognition (LPR) so that only permitted vehicles could park in a car park; also deployed was
Video Loss and Video Motion Detection (outside of operating hours) so that any potential threat or attempt to disturb a camera would be
detected and reported.
