Knowles House is a new development in Harlesden, London which forms part of the resdiential scheme that Brent Council offers residents within the London borough. A development spanning two buildings and over 200 apartments with communal amenities, Knowles House enhances and expands the council-provided residential facilities for Brent.
The development covers a huge area and required specialist systems including CCTV, Access Control and Intercoms to protect residents and allow for them to securely use the building as well as greet visitors from their individual apartments.
Infinity was chosen as the surveillance provider to ensure the entire site, building perimeters, car parks and communal areas are protected to ensure the safety of staff and residents. Over 30 High Definition (HD) cameras were deployed, mounted on the building, on car park columns or within communal spaces, to offer maximum coverage throughout the development.
Infinity offered flexibility by enabling systems to remain standalone so that staff can be segregated and only view images pertinent to the block they worked in, but also amalgamate the systems into a singular system enabling monitoring, reactions to faults, internet connectivity and similar features to be provided to remote operators.
